Illness & Exclusion

  • โ—Children with fever (38ยฐC/100.4ยฐF or above), vomiting, or diarrhea must stay home until symptom-free for 24 hours.
  • โ—Contagious illnesses such as pink eye, lice, or hand-foot-and-mouth require clearance before return.
  • โ—We notify families promptly of any illness outbreaks in the centre.

Medication

  • โ—All medications require written authorization from a parent/guardian and a physician when applicable.
  • โ—Medications are stored securely and administered only by authorized staff.
  • โ—EpiPens and emergency medications are kept accessible with clear action plans.

  • โ—We maintain detailed allergy lists for every child and enforce strict no-sharing food policies.
  • โ—Nut-free and other allergen-aware practices are followed in all food preparation areas.
  • โ—Families are asked to label all food brought from home.

  • โ—Toys and high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly throughout the day.
